Science is More Interesting in the Hands of Artists…
Dead Monkey was inspired by the lack of STEM and Liberal Arts as a collective academic opportunity. The Rhesus Monkey in white charcoal,  was hand sketched by Zach Bakewell as a high school Junior Zach Bakewell  at McDonogh School in Owings Mills,  MD.  The drawing was his final assignment for a newly created art/science elective.  It was displayed at the 2013 AIMS conference in Baltimore City before it became the logo for Dead Monkey Apparel.

Who says Liberal Arts and STEM can't co-exist?
